Prineville District implements temporary closure of BLM lands around McCaffery Fire area

Prineville, Ore. – July 7, 2024

The Prineville District Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has implemented a temporary area closure of the BLM managed lands around the McCaffery Fire area. This closure is in place for the safety of the public and to ensure that fire suppression activities to happen unimpeded. The order will be in place until rescinded.
