Firefighters are working on the Rosland Road Fire

There is an approximately 50-acre fire wildfire is burning on Deschutes National Forest lands near Newberry Estates in La Pine, OR. The fire began at approximately 2 p.m. this afternoon. Two heavy air tankers, five engines, 1 20-person hand crew, two hotshot crews, helicopters, and water tenders are on the fire. Resources will continue to be sent to the fire. At this time no evacuations have been ordered. Deschutes County Sheriff’s Department will be in charge of all evacuations if needed.
