Smoke Outlook from Cedar Creek Fire, September 12, 2022

Smoke
Areas near and to the east of the Cedar Creek fire will have the greatest impacts today, including Oakridge and Sunriver down to the Crater Lake rim. Oakridge currently is experiencing hazardous air quality and expect Unhealthy to very unhealthy conditions to prevail through the day. Areas to the west and southwest will experience moderate air quality.

Health and Safety Message
Watch for periods of better air quality during the afternoons to run errands or be active outside. But check your local monitor and follow advice in the AQI table below when air quality is impaired. Do you know how to check your local air quality? Try out the map at Fire.airnow.gov for current conditions.
